Second gold for Bolshunov, best Czech at 38th position
After victory in 15 km free Alexander Bolshunov took gold in classic pursuit in Vysočina Arena. Norwegian Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo made it to 2nd place from Saturday’s 7th position. The best Czech skier Petr Knop ended 38th.
Razýmová moved two places up, Johaug sailed to victory
On Sunday Kateřina Razýmová raced in her favourite 10km pursuit classic and improved her Saturday’s standing by 8th position. Kateřina Janatová finished 16th. Leading WC racer Norwegian Therese Johaug totally reigned at this race again.

The opening day of FIS Cross-Country World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě brought amazing performances of athletes, perfect organization and last but not least fantastic atmosphere.

Russian Alexander Bolshunov rushed the first in 15km free in Vysočina Arena, a Norwegian star Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo followed him with more than 1min lost at 7th place. Czech skiers did not reach top 30 and gained no points.
Razýmová linked to this season’s success, Janatová raced her life result
Czech skier Kateřina Razýmová confirmed her current form and closed top 10 standing in 10km free. Kateřina Janatová also performed fantastically, by her 13th place she improved her life maximum. The race was dominated by Norwegian Therese Johaug.
